JoeinIowa:

OVON

I've made a mistake in posting OVON. I retraced my FA on them and must have plugged in an incorrect ticker and gotten some other companies info, or something like that. Sorry to everyone and thank you Joe for noticing this discrepancy. Once again OVON does NOT qualify for my list.

Also Joe, OVON is on not on "top", it scored a 7 (incorrectly) which means that it is at the border of where I draw the line between what I like and what is not so interesting. TTN is actually on top this week w/ a 7.8 average. I'm glad you like the new approach to the list and hope that you will be there to catch me again if I trip up.

Finally, Joe, please maintain a respectful tone. Regressive statements like "how in the world" and "if that's the best we can come up with were in serious trouble" undermine a friendly and supportive enviornment for discourse on stocks. If you choose to come to the foreground and speak please realize that there are many of us who spend many hours trying to get the information out for anyone who wants to read. I make this comment with the upmost respect to you.

Joe:

Thanks for your comments...

Which stocks are # 1 or # 2 etc., are open to interpretation...

David and Isaac offer their opinions on timeliness each week... I comment on stocks that I feel are timely... Others also comment...

The 13's thread represents a sharing of ideas, not a platform for any individual or group of individuals to be blindly followed... These 13's stocks represent a starting point for additional TA and FA by each serious investor/trader... Any one of these 13's can get hot at any time... All 13R's are encouraged to learn as much as they can about TA and FA... There is nothing more satisfying than selecting a stock that goes up in price...

Jim
