I use them also! Have been a customer since early in the game, bought their stock at 12, and sold at 16!!!!!! anyway, their system as you know is you have to pay the ask, on any purchase! so get them to check their records for the ask low of the day, if it was 20 on the ask ,I think you deserve a fill. they will tell you their were orders ahead of yours, but make them check the min by min record, and let them prove they didn't stiff you!!!!I have been there done that with them , so now when I place an order, if I really want the stock pay the ask price to get it, I have been burnt before when placing a market order, that guarantees you will pay the higher price....But if a stock is running, you have to play the game or get left behind, otherwise for a patient wait for your price, say at 20 it has to trade at 19 7/8 for you to get it at 20. it can trade all day, bid 20 ask 20 1/16 or 1/8 and you will not get filled., has to be ask 20 and you get filled, so check them out!!!!I raised hell with them when I tried to get some trades, and they just said you have to pay the ask price, as their market makers, that do their trades control that!!!!I was upset, but did no good....good luck!!! and see you on the thread!enots

<I would switch but I hear horror stories about all Online brokers.>

I use Schwab, ratan and while I think they are less that perfect (that stupid quote bank) their order fills are excellent. So good in fact that I don't mind paying the 29.95 commish. I guarantee that if I had a limit order at 20 in on PAIR friday it would've filled.

John

I switched from Discover to Brown, because Brown is 5 dollars a trade. They have made one error in a month, and they fixed the problem right away. I am veru pleased. I trade about 300 times a year, saving 3000 dollars and thereby increasing profits.

ratan,
your order should have been filled. Last Friday at one time I noticed
PAIR was at 19 7/8 x 19 15/16. So there was no reason why your
order didn't get filled. I thought PAIR was about to go through 19 1/2, but it didn't.

I use to have my order filled at the bid on a small quantity (<1k),
but last couple trading days I didn't have any luck with PAIR.
So it's telling me that PAIR is still in good demand.
