Hello Joe:

The numbers I quoted to Tomato had the dates besides them... These are independent reports and they do vary -- its like a bunch of lawyers who watch an accident at a street corner and give a bunch of different views on who was at fault... Im missing Hilton Ashton's report in Feb '98 -- he's probably closer since his office is in Johannesburg! The reports I quoted are prepared by those financial houses and you can get free copies from them, if you wish. I don't know of any other ind. study. All the estimates to tonnage are just that. No independent geologist will give you exact figures... It all depends on the depth, the value of the carats etc... And right now all those factors are in the ground!

I'm surprised that you can't get straight answers from the company; I have always managed to get my questions answered in the past, from CJ, LB, KF etc. In fact, I find them truthful (unlike several other co.-s I have dealt with in the past) as well.

BTW I put the est. 50 yr life on Klipspringer (they are tripping over fissures all over the place) and not M1. Again, its only an estimate -- noone knows what's underground until its mined. I was talking about Klipspringer having a long life, M1 has about 2+ and the tonnage is less. CJ put $2 on M1 and NOT on Klipspringer, just for the record.

I know how you feel -- I have some SUF stox -- my average, however, is considerably lower than yours. But, I don't think you will have to leave the Ferraris to your grand children -- I think you'll enjoy them sooner than you think. SUF has a LOT of other projects which will make it happen for you! And, M1 ain't over yet!
Regards. Goalie.
