The Zen of Shorting Master Chu Mei Ash once had a particuarly head-strong and willful student - one Li Cu Pah. The student was rapidly becoming an 'adept' but a little fond of exercising what he knew in the face of the unknown. The Master summoned the student and said it is time for you to learn to play when there are other schools in opposition to you. The master said, "Observe, the chart of 'Ktar' the sitar company - now it is approximately doubled. The student begged pardon of the teacher and left in the direction of the market, promising to return at a later hour. The next day the student returned. Master Chu Mei Ash continued as if un-interrupted. Now we consider the chart of Ktar and what might be happening here - it is now up 200%. Again the student excused himself and disappeared in the direction of the market. The next morning, when the student arrived, Master Chu Mei Ash stopped the student and said, " I really think you need the lesson of the 'Opposed Smal Flot'. The student listnened intently and thought that the master was perhaps no longer the master. The Master said, "Let us consider the chat of Ktar - now up 300%". Again the student excused himself and left in the direction of the market in spite of the masters plea to learn the 'Lesson of the Smal Flot'. Eventually, the student arrived and cried, " Master, teach me the lesson of the 'SmalFlot'. The Master said, "Consider the chart of Ktar - a miserable company that is worthy of a short to the Wise --- at some point." The student replied, "If this is wisdom, you short the ^%*&$ thing." The Master repied, "The lesson is over!" cried the Master." The student, looking confused, said, "But Master, You taught me nothing!" The Master replied, "But you have learned MUCH" An arcane verse from the 'Books of Chu Mei Ash'
