Yaacov Still Off Topic Thank you for the reply. He was assuming that (because his phone works on a higher frequency), here in the US, it would not work in Europe or the UK. Perhaps the smart card will adjust the frequency for Europe & UK . I will pass on your information to him. Yes, the phone (Motorola) works very well here, in New Hampshire. The company (Omnipoint) seems to be expanding rapidly, and just opened a new store here -- they supply the service also. By the way, there is an Omnipoint thread on SI also -- @ exchange2000.com Their web site is omnipoint.com I have not checked out their site yet. Also -- We just enjoyed 16 days in Venice, Florence, and Rome -- and hope to return next winter or spring. Regards, Mardy.
