April 20 LOCH HARRIS, INC. REPORTS YEAR-END GAINS -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- AUSTIN, Texas, April 20, 1998 -Gains in revenues, earnings per share and total assets were posted by Austin-based technology incubator Loch Harris, Inc. (NASDAQ OTCBB: LOCH) in a year-end report released today. "Total revenues were $4.2 million. Earnings per share were $0.026. Total assets increase to more than $15 million, compared to $13 million reported the previous quarter," said Mark Baker, CFO. "This news seems to validate Friday's record shattering trading volume of nearly 6 million shares that caused the market capitalization to more than double," he said. Loch Harris, Inc. operates five wholly owned subsidiaries including PetroTech Resources International, Inc., with oil and gas interests; US Aerodyne, Ltd., manufacturers of solar-powered water delivery systems; AgraTech International, Inc., an agribusiness technologies firm known for its interests in breeding Tuli cattle; InfoTech International, Inc., a software development company known for its PCSentry 93000 security systems; and Chemical Detection Technology, Inc., developers of optical technologies in landmine and alcohol detection systems. The company acquires businesses, technologies and patents that it determines may have potential for growth and possible spinoff.
