As much as MSFT can get away with.
Although I am not familiar with the details of the licensing, I believe that if it were found out that they included any of the code within their own products, they could be sued and forced to release all of the source code for all products that contained this code. This is an awfully dangerous path to take, and I don't believe that it would be worth the risk for them to do so.
