naked short selling in fibr has been going on for years. it has taken the authorities over 3 years to finally address the hanover situation. maybe it takes three or moreto address the shorts here, so why are people making this huge leap of faith that the shorts will cover. as always it pays to know the rules of the game before playing, fibr is and will continue to be a highly speculative play based on fundamentals, and short covering will come on fundamentals improving, not on anything else.

>>Umm, so you think the presence of naked short selling indicates that Osicom is a good investment? <<

Barb,

I don't care if this is the way you choose to answer me. But one can hardly take this tact and then scream about having words put in there mouth. A little consistency from you please, you hardly deserve to whine about words put in your mouth and then ask that kind of loaded question.

You mention share dilution. This dilution came at the issuance of convertible shares, which became possible when FIBR's price dipped to a set level. Now we have the NASDR investigating a market maker involved in FIBR, for shorting a stock in a way which is against the rules, and possibly using the media to aid them in their endeavor. You know the FIBR story as well as I. It's no longer far fetched to think something very fishy has gone on with this stock, that has nothing to do with the management.

What I am looking for from you, who I always thought as a somewhat reasonable person, is some affirmation that perhaps these extra shares, which seemed to swing you against FIBR, were more than the company simply issuing new shares without regards to shareholders. In the end you are correct, fundamentals and making money is what it will take to move the shares higher. Just looking to see if this news sways your concerns about share dilution.

At anyrate it was a fairly reasonable extension of the ongoing discussion of FIBR here in this thread, I have no idea why you are so touchy about your previously stated opinions. But in the future I will be sure to address you by directly responding to your post, even if it is back a ways.
