I am skeptical of your bold statement about 99.9% sure of no merger announcement. What is your basis ? I would assume with this type of certainty that you are an insider. It would be awfully difficult for an outsider to gain this level of confidence. Also, why would they have not put out a press release on Friday if they were going to announce a merger. The bottom line with merger discussions is that business must go on during the discussion - no need to be overly analytical about every peep out of the organization. You also mentioned that Peoplesoft is "least interested" in customer interaction space. Again, what is your basis for such a statement ? I don't know when and if a takeover might occur, but it sure doesn't seem far fetched to me.
