That's an interesting question. But with the justice concerns already in Mr. Gate's face, do you really thing he would try going horizontal? There was a release in Fall last year, as I recall, that said Ascend is participating with many other name players in Microsoft's labs in Redmond. So, it could be that the respective players will come out of that with their respective pieces of a pie, that just happens to benefit Microsoft in the end. But that is just my guess. Mr. Softy does not need more heat from DOJ right now. Jack Colton, I am an accountant. And we don't know a "Test" from a "Text", anyway. Hey, eom, is infamous as the guy who caught Cisco in the AT&T Frame Relay problem. At least that's what the article in the URL jump in message 44984 says. Anyone else I can pick on tonight?
