Bill you may check this - "wary" interesting stuff unknown to Mr. Longterm Six'Pack - market only goes up!! biz.yahoo.com Levitt said he asked the NASD to examine this issue as part of its effort to respond to the Report on Compensation Practices and hopes by this time next year that progress has been made in removing incentives that create the strong pressures ''not only to sell, but to sell anything.'' It took them some time to realize conflict of interest on publicly known stuff. Haim

bill....its been well over a year since you started this thread...from a few of us posters back then to what it is now. you have tried, tweaked, changed,added, modified, created and adjusted a bushelbasket full since last Feb. a substantial correction should be right around the corner, though no Big K ,imo. but i am anxiously awaiting to see how your new and improved version reacts this time, will it give a definitive, jump out in your face, screeming BEEP this time...and how close it is to the actual reversal day.... we are now in the final monster week of earnings, MSFT after close on Wednesday will be the final huge cork popping, horn blowing, event, followed by another big flurry on Thursday. Then the party is over, with virtually nothing on Friday, and next week slowing to a trickle. then an assessment of what has been and what will be......h-m-m-m, profit taking starting Thursday afternoon and continuing Friday? looks very familiar to the last week of July 97. ....i still think you will get a better read on the BOTTOM of the coming correction than the approaching top reversal....these Hulk Hogan bull runs never seem to want to end....but with all the $$$inflow and buy the dip mentality the bottoms seem to stop just short of the major support level everyone picks...dipsters don't want to miss out. next few days will be interesting. carl
