Greenspan Says Medicare Needs Caps

WASHINGTON (AP) - A new Medicare commission will have to decide what health coverage the nation can afford - and what it can't - for baby boomers in retirement, Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan says. ''Reality is invariably going to create a situation in which, granted the type of system we have, the demand for medical services is almost surely going to exceed the basic available supply,'' Greenspan told lawmakers and private-sector experts gathered Monday for the second meeting of the National Bipartisan Commission on the Future of Medicare.

Berney - IBM - gaps up at open up 5 (over resistance @112.)On first declining Qly earnings in 2 years - albeit above street estimates.Still it looks like we've got a Tiger by the tail.
