The new lows referred to at the beginning of this thread coincided roughly with a significant correction (10 per cent?) in the Dow and the S&P 500 in July of '96. My guess is that any retesting of old lows (or setting of new ones) that might occur this time would be likely to happen when overall market sentiment undergoes a similar correction.
