Melissa,
You know for some strange reason I have a lot of companies that I either own now or have owned in the past that report late like this. ITWO (Apr 23), MXIM (May 6), CPWR (May 11) to name a few. So reporting late is actually not that unusual, this is not to say that its a good thing, however.

Michelle

I believe this may be inaccurate. IFMX is still trying to announce the results the last week of April. I'm looking for 4/30 or 5/1. If they can't, this is a very bad sign that their infrastructure is still seriously messed up. IMHO

Cheers

As you know, announcing late is usually not a good sign. This has me concerned. Good news tends not to be held back by a company, but instead moved forward. Perhaps they will have a (small) loss to report? Given their aggressive write downs in their attempt to reorganize the costs and revenues on the books that helped Informix generate a small profit on the books last quarter, I would not be surprised if this quarter reports a loss.

Probably a good strategy is to write MAY CALLs before the earnings announcement as close to the resistance at 9 as possible. I think I already missed a good opportunity earlier this month when the price touched 9 and backed off. But it looks like there may be another opportunity in the works.
