David - Nice to hear from you.......
Hope to see more of your posts..........Always enjoy them, analyze them, use my best judgement - then trade (or not)....You - as well as many others that inhabit this thread tend to give my thought process some balance......
I hope that "sea of Aprils" didn't weight you down tooooooo much.... Me, I have been scrambling back in the boat for a few days and now I am standing on the helm searching for that surface activity that will show where the next "catch" might be.....

Re-tying my ropes, sharpening harpoons, etc, etc.
Good luck to all.....
Byram

David,
Welcome home sailor!!Between that whale and all those waves, you MUST really have your "sea legs" now!<VBG>Lisa and Bill have kept me out of "put" trouble.Ironically, your in depth and complicated analysis coincides with my "dumb" little charts and psych indicators. And Bill can tell you, if he hasn't, that any little near term pullback will not be worth it compared to what's instore on the next run. That bodes better for patience until maybe those June expiry shorts/puts come to us.Make no mistake...I have been itching to jump in on any rally this week but I have kept my straight jacket close by.A chicken trade might be some sort of straddle, but I hope to have what it takes to wait for much stronger signals from all of us.Whatever the methods,I appreciate all of the great input on this thread.
It's good to have you back. The best whaler lives to harpoon another day...and you have!congrats! ;)
Regards,
Barbara

David - RWS - Carl

Elliot catagorized nine different degrees of trend(or magnatude)
ranging from a Grand Supercycle spanning 200 years to subminuette
degrees covering only a few hours.

My understanding is that the ideal situation for determining a market
top or bottom occurs when 2 or 3 of these Elliot Waves patterns converage
at a distinct mark in time, space and price.

My question...is weither any of your studies including some of the
larger cycles of longer duration are anywhere near a convergence with
each other...including some of the small duration studies.

Is there any indication of longterm patterns and shorterm patterns
coming together....this year or projected into the near future that
might point to a Big Kahuna..?

I believe this was true back in October 97, as I was following other
interpreters, but the event did not fully develope. I was wondering if
any period on the horizon might be worth bookmarking.
Many Thanks
Chip
