William, I have tried it with both 56k modem and also the cable modem, no comparison. That is not to say that you couldn't get by with just a 56k hook-up it works reasonably well. The execution is about the same, it is the reliablility of not getting kicked off by a bad connection that is paramount. Afterall, Murphy's law of luck, you'd be bounced at the most critical time.

Now here's an example of what I call service:

Today the NASDAQ Server went down and I had 4 open pending trades when it happened. I called CT and they immediately intervened and stopped the trades. Now, this is what I call outstanding service.

BTW, everything was up and running within minutes and they even kept everyone posted via a messaging service. Again, top notch and impressive.

Also executed a trade after hours on the Island. Nice perk.

So far this system wins hands down over anything I've ever used or researched, bar none.
