CAND

The news looked good to me, but the numbers weren't sexy enough, I guess. The market response seems to be a rousing "who cares". I'm have a loss on my position, and am seriously considering taking it, but I'll wait a day or two for the news to be absorbed.

Seems like the stock ought to move up, doesn't it.

JoeinIowa:

I think that there was very little surprise about the earnings release. CAND did what was expected. Dropping off today, I feel, are just those who wanted a surprise report from the company. I for one am not that short term on the ticker. At this point I'm not expecting any sort of a huge breakout (lets hope I'm wrong) but I do, for a couple of months, expect to see steady upward movement in price for the stock as I think it will be able now to attract money. I give points to a stock which has the ability to follow through.

Lastly Joe, There was alot of other positive info in the story, including + revenues and extensive backorders. With this in mind I'm going to raise my average for CAND.

re: CAND -- It appears to me that we need to do a bit more consolidation and digest our gains. With earnings/backlog as reported, stock should be trading higher. If the stock drops much from its current level, I'll bail. If it hangs here, I will wait for as long as 3-4 weeks before doing anything drastic. (How's that for a long term perspective? hehehe)
