The tobacco issue Clinton: "We're doing it for the children" I say: Bullshit you are doing it to extract money for your socialistic big government pet projects The tobacco deal will do nothing to stop kids from smoking. We already have laws prohibiting kids from smoking and if they were enforced, they'd still wouldn't work. The guise of using kids is an easy way to gain public support. The tobacco industry has used lies themselves. I acknowledge that. But, to think that raising the tobacco tax to deter kids from smoking is going to work, these politician must be on drugs themsleves. When you have kids paying 8 bucks a pop to see Titanic 15 times, buying $100 sneakers, and paying 16 bucks for CD's, are we really going to be honest and admit a measly addition of a buck 50 is really going to make cigarettes financially out of reach for children> Second. Joe Camel. Camels don't make kids smoke. Peer pressure and parents do. Maybe movies but a that's a distant third. And remember that tobacco can't advertise on TV. In comparison, let's use a more dangerous drug that kills more people directly and indirectly than tobacco. ALCOHOL. If Joe camel makes kids smoke, then where were these same f*ckhead politician when SPuds MCkinzie was on tv? What about those frogs and lizards? Hmmmm, don't you think they fall in the same category as Joe Camel, Mr. cokehead President? YEt, we haven't heard a beep out of the First Felon and his sidekick tobacco raised Algore. Third, statistics seems to show that it the middle class and poor that do all the smoking in america. What Bill and the congress will be doing is implementing a very harsh tax upon the poor of America. An I though Bill cared about them? Hardly. Bill's words lose their meaning the second they fly off his putrid lips. BTW, the money coming form this deal isn't out of the pockets of big T.but out of the pockets of Americans. 4th-How many tobacco related abuse cases have you heard about? HAve you ever heard of a domestic altercation where the police report states that tobacco was involved? I don;t think so. Replace tobacco with alcohol and we see a whole different picture. See my point? I'm not advocating that alcohol should be illegal, but that there is a serious hypocrisy here on the part of the politicians. If Clinton and his band of socialists really dislike tobacco, then he should stop pussy footing around and make it illegal. That is, if he really cares about children. The only thing that Clinton and many politicians care about it what is in your wallet. If they can find a way to take what is in your wallet, they will. I will feel relief once I see Bill and hill in shackles like that lying two time slut, Susan Mcdougal.
