The only thing I can think of to explain the steady increase is that investors are anticipating good results in the Q2 results (ended March 31, 1998), which should be out shortly. To quote the March 3 announcement of the acquisition of Fastway: "For reporting purposes, operational performance will be detailed in the next quarterly report for the period ending March 31. This will include two additional months of peak season activity."

I don't know what impact Fastway will have on Dakota's financials for this quarter since the acquisition represents a small fraction of the operating time during this period.

Last I talked to Mr. LeBlanc, I learned that the private placement, announced Jan. 22/98, which included warrants exercisable at $0.40 and expiring June 30/98, has been changed or canceled since the price was no longer realistic. Other than that, I didn't get much other detail regarding the AGM or anything...
