I wasn't being serious, just proving a point that the tabacco issue doesn't have to do with kids at all and that kids are just a front to cover up the reall reason- money in the gov's coffers.. The fact that politicians are hexing cigarettes will probably cause more kids to smoke. I'd love to see that happen. Love to see egg drip down the face of our politicians.

>>congress can assign the DEA to enforce the tobacco
>>prohibition law.

Umm,

Now we're getting into something i know a lot about: drug law.

DEA can't "enforce" any prohibition of tobacco because there
ain't any. Prohibition, that is. All we have against tobacco
(from the feds) is an unconstitutional infringement by the FDA
to restrict commercial free speech (Joe Camel, and billboards
in general) and local commerce (cig vending machines) that
exceeds even the broadest possible reading of FDA's legal authority.

But the Fed courts are packed with so many incompetent wimps,
hell would freeze over before any of them even noticed this.

DEA could propose scheduling nicotine (or tobacco) as a
controlled substance. Clinton could have the DEA do it.
But it would conflict with separation of powers for Congress
to pass a law telling DEA to add this or that to any particular
schedule of the Controlled Substances Act.

Ted Kennedy kept trying to do it with Rohypnol and some
other "date rape" drugs. DEA ended up doing the scheduling,
no doubt at their (the fascist Democrats') behest.

We live in a system where they at least have to PRETEND
that they are following the rules.

So There!
