The show was interesting. Wolf wasn't exactly up to the task. Better to have had Geraldo.

My favorite part was when F. Lee Bailey started talking about security measures in the White House and how George Bush agreed with the Secret Service and how he had talked to George Bush when he was Vice President. It was at the point of talking about Bush's military record that I thought, and maybe I am mistaken here, but I am almost certain I heard him say he talked to Bush "marine to marine".

Then I was struck by the enormous impact that the OJ Simpson trial has had on the US. Aside from distorting people's perception of the Justice system, I recall President Clinton delayed his State of the Union address because of the verdict. And now we are left with OJ's lawyer and the same commentating lawyers from the trial analyzing the current legal terrain for the President. Guilt by association.
