OK, I'm starting a new Boink thread, thanks mostly to Peter Powell for the idea. I'm busy, and I can't be a thread cop, but I had the idea so I'm doing it. Here are the new rules. Anyone who is sick of the mean spirited horse puckey on the old thread, and wishes the Boink thread was like it used to be when it was fun, is welcome here. Anyone who gave up on the Boink thread when it got sour is welcome here. Anyone who wants to goof off is welcome here. All you great people from back when the thread was fun, are welcome. Just about everyone is welcome here. Anyone who wants to be evil, denigrate other posters*, seriously discuss "serious" things because it is so friggin' important, enlighten us "for our own good" or in some other way bring the happy people down, just stay away, OK? Just stay over on the other thread and bring each other down. This could be like the Boink thread used to be. I feel better already! (Note: I'm not trying to curtail any discussion. I'm trying to get back the flavor of the old thread. The only thing that went wrong is a few creeps showed up and screwed it up for everyone else.) *If you piranha post here, you get one polite message from anyone else asking you to leave. If you don't, everyone else has my permission to flame that person constantly until they leave the thread. Otherwise, no flaming, just have fun. | ||||||||||||
