Actually I don't listen to Carson so much, don't have his site bookmarked, for instance, and don't always click on it when somebody posts the url. His style really really puts me off, like I said. But at the same time, nobody's proven him wrong on any single point at this date. I mean proven, not just ranting accusations of 'liar liar pants on fire'.

I suspect it will be la Corte that does the proving of the truth or fiction of the respective sides, it'll all come out in the wash but right now we're stuck in the rinse cycle.

I grant you that there is a bit of a cult over at stockhouse that more or less centres on Carson. I don't read SH much, don't like the software, especially the way the posts don't link back to referring posts, it's confusing. SI is far superior, imho. Also this pro-kry forum idea is absurd, big red flag there, I'll grant you that too. But after careful reading of everything on that soho website, and following this thread right from the beginning, and listening to EC (yes, that counts, he has never been wrong yet on any strong position he has taken on SI), and talking to a venezolano with no particular connections but who is somewhat informed, and keeping up with all the venezolano websites I can find ...... well, I ended up buying a few shares, and am more likely to buy more than to sell what I have. I was sort of hoping for another short attack, though, so they'd be cheaper, but every day that passes is one less day till the decision, so I'll just take what I can get. I think there'll be a short-covering spike when the court rules, and will jump on that with both boots if I am so lucky as to be at the computer when it happens. Very busy lately, though.

How about you? Where do you get your info from, on what do you base your opinion? You're a Canadian working for a mining company in Peru, right? It wouldn't be Placer, by any chance -g- ? Anything you don't want to say on the thread, just PM me, I'm cool. Genuinely curious too - you definitely know your mining stuff, I tuned into your bgo posts a long time ago.
...... cheers ............. marcos
