It will be interesting to see what form the portals(Search Engines/Web Directories) take with regards to content. Will they limit access to their content to people viewing their channel? or will they open it up to all? The more logical approach would be to limit the access to provide the motivation for advertisers/marketers to use their channel exclusively. In this scenario there will be a race to aquire/make alliances with the major media networks and current dominant content providers on the web.
