Is cmpexpress a threat to AMZN?

It all depends on ones view of human nature. I would never support what they do because I think it is unethical. It seems like going to one's local stereo store, taking up the salesman's time, putting hands on their merchandise, and then going home and buying the item from a mail order place in New York because they don't have so much overhead and can charger lower prices. Or its the same as going to Borders to look at a book and then buying it from Amazon.com

It is fundamentally immoral behavior. I won't do it because its wrong and aalso because its only a lousy 5%.

So, for me, the issue is how many people are like me, and how many are ruthlessly selfish? I do think that acses will eat into amazon's profitability, but I see both of these web sites as manageable threats. Acses usually finds sites 3% or 5% of 6% cheaper than AMZN. Again, its not enough to break my loyalty to a reliable site. AMZN boasts that with something like 2 million customers, they have never had a complaint about credit card security. That appeals to me. I am not ready to give my credit card to an online merchant that has no reputation.

Best Regards,
