That in and of itself does not make literal translation right or wrong. It just means that you use circular logic when you say, " I believe the bible is meant to be literally translated. It says so in the Bible, and since I think that cant be wrong, I am therefore right." In essence I'm right, because I think I'm right. Well. Chris, I think I'm right also. Since I trust my judgement more than yours, I think I will continue down my path for a while longer. Besides, I am no expert on the Bible, But I am pretty sure that someone can find a quote that claims that God's soul business is one of pure love and salvation. Not one of retribution. Mark
