Mark;

I must object to your reasoning. Using the Bible to interpret or prove the Bible cannot be considered circular reasoning. Because it was written by 40 different authors over two thousand years. When these authors substantiate one another it is not circular reasoning, but evidence.

Mark, No one emotion by itself is good if not tempered by another. In our world, if you love someone totally, without tempering it with another emotion, then you will eventually become hurt by not using judgement by loving anyone unconditionally.
What I am trying to say is that God is a God of unconditional love, but He must temper that love with judgement based on the sum total of each individuals actions. God has to judge evil and judge it harshly.
You can depend on it.
Ex: God forgave David for murder, fornication and a host of other sins, but he told him that a sword would hang over the house of David for the rest of David's earthly existence. It did.
