>>Another point, Zlot: you keep saying that Clinton governs by polling results, as if there were something dramatically new in that. If ever we had a president who specialized in telling people only what they wanted to hear it was Your Hero, Ronald Reagan. He promised to lower taxes and simultaneously increase defense spending; he sided with the right-to-lifers when I daresay he could have cared less about abortion; he sucked up to religious leaders when as far as can be known he had no religious beliefs; he talked sanctimoniously about Family when his own was a dysfunctional disaster; he encouraged the nation to believe that it was Morning In America, and that We Were Number One, and a lot of other unrealistic and chauvinistic nonsense.

Much, much more the Feel-Good Prez than Clinton.

Not even close.

Well, al least you do not disappoint - you are as hopelessly uninformed as always!

"In the law, that would be a "declaration against interest" and be considered highly persuasive."

>>Only counts, I should think, if one says it under oath. And no, I'm afraid I have not helped you make your point. Your point was that Morris had never told a different story. Wrong, as you would say.

I am always ready to concede some ground while winning the war. I trapped you into your small "victory" while winning the larger point.

I guess when you missed learning history you also missed learning to play chess too.

Well there you go again....amazing how you seem to be able to pierce inside the human soul and know what truly motivates...
>>He sided with the right-to- lifers when I daresay he could have cared less about abortion<<

Yes, so much so that he wrote a fine book on the subject, "Abortion and the Conscience of the Nation". I assume you never read it?..... There's so much more unmitigated trash in taht post of yours concerning RWR, it completely boggles the reasoned mind. But waht would you know about taht?
