Steven,re:"Win98..". That is not the point. It's the CHEAP PCs. It
doesn't matter win95/win98, MSFT still collect tax. As long as PC
is cheap, winXX will sell like hotcake, no matter what. Sooner or
later, we all have to upgrade to win98.

but, it still costs $89 on the street to upgrade. I don't think a price has been set yet, but preliminary hints say upgrade will be more like $95 or $105..I've heard both numbers.
