Bear Stearns equity strategist Reitz recommended NSCP as undervalued with as much potential as YHOO on CNBC tonight in interview with Bartiromo.

I'll second that on the CPU gorillahertz debate. INTC 400 mhz like having a Maseratti leaving your home on pavement only to hit a country dirt road with potholes. Until faster cable or ADSL modems available just money wasted on gorillahertz. As Cramer on street.com said, his kids can't tell the difference between 200 and 300 mhz Pentium. AMD now with 60% of sub 1k$ market which is the fastest growing segment. How long will people continue to pay for overpriced DELL equipment?
Anyone know who makes the compressor in their refrigerator? Does it have gorilla-kelvin credentials for 2k$ extra?
400$ computers with 200mhz chips later this year or early next.

The computer software company warned that government restrictions ''will not only affect the thousands of companies that make this industry so successful, but it will also affect millions of consumers and, eventually, the economy in general.''

The world up in flames, if Bill doesn't get his way.

''These new tools in our operating systems allow people to do more and spark wave after wave of innovation,'' the advertisements said. ''Giving customers what they ask for -- isn't that the way the free market is supposed to work?''

Yeah. Like that retail Windows95, that's what the customers want. It's what Microsoft is giving them, isn't it? What's the matter with those OEMs? No wonder Bill treats them like dirt. From the other side:

''If that were the issue, ProComp would disband, the Justice Department would cease its investigation, and the news media would return to writing about Monica Lewinsky,'' Wasch said. ''Microsoft seems to employ the Henry Ford view of consumer choice -- 'You can have any color, as long as it is black.'

''In Microsoft's world, customers can buy whatever they want, as long as it is from Microsoft,'' he said.


He's so confused.
