You know I was about to answer with a big NO, since the market for Etrade was completely different at that time, then I realized what you were saying.
They are basically going to have the same scenario in those countries, as they did here. I don't think electronic trade is as developed in other places as it is here(US). Which means Etrade will have a monopoly, or at least muscle.
By the way, it is opening up in more than just one country. I recall at least three. You know I was about to answer with a big NO, since the market for Etrade was completely different at that time, then I realized what you were saying.

You know, all of this potential foreign revenue is fine and dandy, but we are not going to see any profits from them until the end of this quarter, or maybe next. Plus, they are partnering up with other firms, and not exactly opening their own offices overseas.
