I think ADPT will do okay even if it misses earnings.
It is the forward looking statement that the company issue
that will decide whether it moves up or not ...

Peter, the market is VERY toppy! I am counting on a big crash sometime in the next 3 to 4 months in the techs. I want that crash. Regardless of that possibility; I see Adaptec not going much lower than where it has already been. I will buy if it drops under $20 again. The future developments for this company make it a good longterm investment and the price is already shot to hell. Who will be the sellers in a market crash that haven't already sold? The crash will be taken out mostly on the stocks that have profit built in at the moment since the first of the year. The index funds will take a big hit. ADPT will not likely go too low; maybe 14 or 15 in a big panic tech plunge, but it will recover back to $19 easy after all the blood is in the street. I would just buy more in that condition. I plan on making some money in the stock in the next 6 months; one way or another.

BTW; did everyone see that Silicon Investor just got sold to Go To Net. I think Brad and Jeff Dryer have made a lot of money off a small operation started several years ago in their basement on a shoestring. I have my ASP manuals handy myself and see a bright future in website marketing and development.
