It is my impression that most tech people have a low opinion of Microsoft. Typical question from help at an ISP is are you using Internet Exploder? Do you really think Microsoft can run in to a higher educated group like this and smash Checkpoint on marketing force? Admitted it is a scary prospect. Anyway, this is described as a future product offering? Any thoughts on how far off this threat lies? You know, last year it seemed like there was a new company entering security every week. It seemed like the market was going to be deluged with products, but Checkpoint seems to have held it's own. I own Raptor, which is now Axent. I'm thinking of adding CHKPF. Any comments on the overlap of these 2 companies and their comparitive strengths? Thanks, Mark
