I am not sure this is good for Ameritrade customers. I have been
using their service for a while and found the service they have right
now is totally unacceptable to me. I have placed an order this
morning and want to cancel it. The trade was executed but no
confirmation. I called to "verify out" my cancellation and the
phone was on hold several times for average 3 minutes each. Sure,
I lost money for the trade. So, if you want to "trade" with
Ameritrade, think twice. The promise has been there for a few
months for improving the system but I think they want to save money
to make the book look good. Eventually, all the customers leave.
I am thinking of moving somewhere else.

BTW, the trade status is still "submitted for cancel" on my screen.

Gil, I took my small profits and got out. With all the horror stories I have read on SI and Yahoo boards, in our lawsuit-happy culture this company looks like a walking lawsuit. I couldn't take the chance.

P.S. It's hard to gauge Sowbug's posts. He seems to have his own agenda. For instance, I've never seen "incredible" and "Datek" used in the same sentence before.
