PAM,

IMO if we were convinced that there was shorting (excluding Canada)then it would be in our best interests to have the certs issued. With many BD's you can not request the shares not be loaned out, you must take delivery. If you plan to hold for the buyout then its no big deal. We would all have to work together on this to make it effective.

Best Regards

Pr,
As far as the selling goes, who knows? There is no way to tell exactly who is selling or why. There is also no way to tell if the selling is shorts or good paper. At least not easily. For all we know the shares that we see getting traded are the same 50k over and over being churned to increase volume. When legit buying comes in the price tends to move up. Then when block trading hits the price goes flat or falls. I am just as confused as you and everyone else is. The mm, NFSC, is the player of this stock right now and only he knows what his agenda is and how and when he might leave.

As far as calling in certs goes, if you know that you will not be selling any shares for a while then a concerted effort by all of us could put a little strain on the players as to where they can get stock from. I also dont trust my brokerage house to not lend shares even though they are in a cash account. Calling in a large portion of your shares, say 90% or so by everyone, could have an effect. Lets see if we get more response on this subject.

LONG AND STRONG!!! GO DCTC!!!!

Bruce

PA, Since we are working with incomplete information in this area, it's up to each of us to decide what scenario seems to best fit the market action we have been seeing over the last several months. I outlined my own best guesses in an earlier post where I had concluded that in a worst case scenario that we might have as much as 1.9 million (this would be less now, 1.7 million or so) restricted shares that potentially could be either sold or shorted against, and implied that until those shares were either all sold, or the selling of those shares was stopped via some legal means that this issue was not "resolved". We do know that millions of CC shares have been sold over the last several months and IMO it's pretty easy to understand that with a thinly traded stock like DCTC that this level of selling is enough to crush the share price, so to me personally I feel that is the "smoking gun". So you ask how do we know that there aren't naked shorters working in concert to drive the price down? We don't for sure, but I personally do not see the pattern that a naked shorter with the deep pockets required to crush us would be using, I don't see DCTC at these levels being a good play for a naked shorter (talk about exposure if you lose and realistically how much could someone expect to short us down from this level? If our shorter went too low, DCI might just step in an buy it all back. (G) ) given all of the positives this company has going for it and I don't see a lot of trades at the ask that look like they could be shorts on the tape now. Given no hard evidence to support the naked short theory, this is enough for me to believe for the time being that what we are enduring now, is the same thing we have been enduring since Novemeber..selling, selling, selling and I mantain that most of it is coming from North of the border..we will just have to see.

As to calling in the certs. why not? I don't see evidence personally of naked shorting now, but how about in the future if we make a hard fast run to a much higher level? If our certs. were already called I would think that this could help to protect us if we did become a good short play in the future.

James

I for one cashed some cans and grabbed 3K more, not a bunch
in terms of some, but trying to do my part. I also find that there
is a line to be drawn to asking nothing but questions and adding
something in terms of DD. We are all shareholders here, no one
person has a panacea, again at the risk of being redundant,
when we all work together we shall learn as well as prosper.
