FTC conditionally approves DEC-INTEL settlement

FTC on Thursday conditionally approved an agreement that settles litigation between Digital Equipment Corp. and Intel , the Federal Trade Commission said.

The decision was aimed at preserving competition in the microprocessor chip market by assuring "the viability of Digital's Alpha chip, regarded by many as the fastest microprocessor in the world."

IncredibleHult, Re:>"NEWS FLASH-FROM CNBC<"

CNBC just said ML said yesterday's analyst meeting really said nothing new and that Intc should weeken further.

I guess Tom Kurlak doesn't want ANYBODY buying Intel. Or better he doesn't want ANYONE to come to their own conclusion about Intel. Any time the stock gains he's there to try and halt buyers. If he were a floor specialist he probably would halt Intel til there was nothing but sell orders then he'd open it down to his chosen price.

THIS GUY NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED NOW. Or give equal time to some of the investor buying the stock to give CNBC's audience opposing views.
