any chance this microsoft announcement parallels what happened with Citrix 18 months ago? Microsoft announces competing product to replace Citrix' NT solution. Stock drops from 50 to 10 only to rebound to 50 2 months later on a Microsoft recant. Not familiar enough with Citrix' product offerings to know if this could be an accurate comparison....i can hope

Rich, I just don't get this selloff. I couldn't help but buy some of this in the last half hour today. Are people nuts?! What do they expect? Those selling @33 had to be on drugs! Why sell after that drop from 41+. Now I don't ever want to jinx anyone but even a bounce is due from this! seczebra

Rich: I can't help but thinking about the attitude on the part of the tech. business community about maintaining a healthy level of autonomy in order to keep a healthy dose of innovation and flexibility at all levels. After all the fight at the courts is just about that. I wonder if that could be a nice card for Check Point, as well as many other businesses, which Microsoft is competing against. Besides, their announced products are vapor ware until some time in 1999. We'll see then, as someone on this board said that by then CHKPf might have increase its market share. What do you think?
