I think you're on the wrong side of history with that one.

You've heard the phrase: "No one ever went broke
underestimating the intelligence of the American public"?

Now that was some smart cookie who came up with that idea!

If you look back over all recorded history, organized
movements to persecute individuals with intelligence
LOWER than the norm (idiots, as you call them) are the
exception, not the rule.

It's usually the people of higher intelligence who end
up being persecuted. Sometimes, I must add, as a result
of them being unable to keep their mouths shut.

And, by the way, there is some recent work showing a
positive correlation between drug use on the one hand,
and income level and professional accomplishments.

Individuals who do not use drugs are, by and large,
less creative, less willing to accept risks, and
have lower incomes than their drug-using peers.
