At issue strategically is whether CHKPF can build its empire with more acquisitions using its shares. If it is successful, it would continue to build a lead that would be increasingly difficult for others to catch-up. Since investors are affected by fear and greed, Ballmer's comment was successful for at least one day. - Allen
