>>When you upgrade to Win 98, you will have their technology preinstalled on your operating system.<<

I could be wrong but I think Microsoft is going to have a hard time selling Windows 98, or at least there is no immediate compelling reason to upgrade (except if you want everything on 1 CD) or you are for some reason still using Windows 3.1

Windows 98 = Windows 95 + various patches + IE 4.0 (taking over your desktop, yuck!) + add-ons (like SEVL's which you can download for free).

Now if Windows 98 could read NTFS partitions, that alone would be compelling as I dual-boot between Windows 95 and Windows NT (but noooooooo......Windows 98 uses FAT-32, which NT 5.0 may be able to read)

Thanks VERY interesting and just what this thread needed FACTS..
I havent looked at the product YET but I will soon . I bought this
company for other reasons ( two years ago ) I had faith then, simply
because of a gut feeling about what they were doing and How they
were doing it . I have never been to concerned with How much money they had made. I just felt that they were in a good market with
talented people. I STILL feel this way about this company, the information you have provided is ( What I feel ) the rewards of
a company which is going to reap the rewards of hard work and dedication..Best to all and lets Hold on we might just reap the rewards WE deserve.....for our faith..in this company..

Leman,

Thanks for your wonderfull due dilligence work. As a forced new sevl long, your message is music to my ears. You see I got into sevl for mere gamble, like options, but better than options, cause I got time on my side. As long as they deliver this wonderful product which after reading your article I have no doubt they will, I will do fine in the end and may buy more on the dip. Peace and good luck to all.
