"and what happened to McGaughey? "
I'm here, ahhaha.
As Peter Sellers once said, "Sometimes, I just like to watch."
...or something to that effect.
Still long and loving this move.
Currently holding, ALTA,AEM,CBJ,ECO, and PDG.
BTW, I enjoy your posts. Very concise and knowledgeable.
Getting a bit nervous with the XAU at the 93 level, though.
Go to a 3-year chart and draw a line down along the tops.
We're right there, now.
If we bust through the 93 level and go higher soon, I think
we've really got something here.

It's me. Been in ALTA for a number of years. It's quite a trick they can squeeze a 16th quarterly profit--a mere 1 cent per share. I think it is an indication of managments commitment to shareholders. I believe in the present mgmt and therefore sit tight.

AH--You remember the old Silver King days too, I see.
Your posts are quite interesting, even touching on theo physics. Pretty heady stuff for a gold mine thread!
I see you and another mentioned Miramar, a favorite of mine, along
with Alta. When thinking Miramar, think of the Cuban property that NNO/Miramar controls. Loaded with very high grade, but politically incorrect reserves, from what I hear. Finally the Canadian Govt. is standing up to that ridiculous Helms/Burton law, and that can do nothing but help NNO.
The big strike lately has been in the internet stocks, not mining, obviously. The Dow dump today, along with the Nasdaq, has a lot to do with the interest rate increase that is most likely coming. Factor in the 2.5% increase in housing starts, when the experts were looking for a 3.5% decrease, plus the rocket ride equities have been on, and the FED has to hear alarm bells going off.
So, if the inflation so far has been only seen in stocks and real estate, how will this turn of events effect the POG?
As for me, I'm just waiting for sector rotation into the metals.
As night follows day, it will happen.
