If I was CEO of a mfg company...
and I owned umpteen million shares
and I had 1200 plants that needed remediation
Would I risk seeing my stock price plummet by saying I needed a major remediation like that ?

No. I would wait until the remediation was almost complete. Announce to the world "see what I did !", I would then watch my stock price go up, take all the kudos and get my annual bonus for building share holder value.

The only reason that I would announce earlier would be that the share holders or customers started to get nervous about the situation.

IMHO

cheers,
very long on tava indeed

>> TAVA ought to copywrite a special logo that their customers can "paste" to their quarterly and annual reports in 1999. Then they ought to charge a massive royalty for letting them do it. <<

Vicious.

I like it!
