Does the Internet Stock Report have any reason to hype internet stocks, or are completely objective?

irby, yes that was an interesting article, however, I believe they missed a very important point. Yes, Amazon is doing great in selling books directly to the public, but where the real shift is taking place is in the wholesale distribution arena.

Amazon is steadily becoming the wholesale distributor of books to thousands of mom and pop type bookstores across the country. Amazon, through it's database analysis, is able to provide information on the habits of the book buying public. They know which books sell the most, which books excite the customers and which books sit idle on the shelves. Providing this kind of information to book stores everywhere creates a rare opportunity for small book store owners.

Which book stores will resist the temptation to access this HUGE database?

Regards, Michael

yeah, and ktel could put tower records out of business. come on. no mention of the excess individual shipping costs that amzn has to put out every time they ship a book? only b&n friction counts. amzn's doesn't? biased reporting.notice the guy never said that amzn;s current valuation was reasonable. avoid those subjects that you don;t want to address. amzn may be a good bet at $10. at $80+? absolutely not. it is a recipe for disaster.
