TO ALL in regards to the last post: and fyi, TOP DOG newsletter
just went out to over 700 people and is on its way to you so check
your email. CSHK was mentioned.
--------------
WRong... most people don't have a clue that about 50 to 75% of the
programs they are using will have a problem and as we get closer
to the year 2000 people are going to start asking questions.. rather
than calling every maker of every product that you have on your
PC>. wouldn't it be nice to run ONE program that will tell you
which files need to be updated and and where to find the patch.
I was TOLD by the CEO that some patches will be on the Y2K software
so take that at face value. I go by what I hear from the company
not so much on what some other newsletter says.. in fact I've
never read Pennystock's review NOR that of Stock4tomorrow. I do
my own DD.. and yes I'm pretty sure I work in the computer industry.
I'm A+ certified... Lexmark certified.. IBM Server specialist..
Level 3 IBM tech level ... only couple hundred of these nationwide if
that.. so yep I think I understand some stuff about PC's... however,
there is such a broad market in PC... networks, programming, web
design, database, technical, sales, design, manufacturing, testing,
R&D... Point of Sale.. minicomputers, micro, laptops, palm pilots,
mainframes, servers, AS400's... jukeboxes..all kinds of stuff..

I personally think that any y2k companies that can put out a y2k
software package that will aid people and make it easier for them
to fix and find their programs that will need fixing will do very
well.

Bill:
You seem to be a lot more computer savy than your posts of late would have us believe. Reading between your lines I hear what you are saying and it makes sense. Why buy a y2k program just to be alerted to a problem that you elude will be addressed by the software maker themselves. Do you think that the software makers will openly admit and therefore be liable for y2k problems. Its a cat and mouse game now as we speak. I for one would like to know in advance that there is a problem lurking somewhere in my harddrive. Then turn to the company and ask for answers,,.... not wait for a miracle upgrade from a company that hasn't even figured out their liability end of the problem ....... let alone a fix for it. You may sound like one,,.... but your no "hick". Tell us the story behind your posts of late.... For everyone's benefit.
