In the mid-to-late 80s, Pennzoil sued Texaco for interfering
with their take-over of Getty Oil. They won $10.5 billion,
but then settled down to $2.5 billion by the end of the decade.
It almost destroyed Texaco for good.

If Mr. Ball was part of this action, then Rentech has a
strong ally with experience in the Texaco trenches.
