David, Trust me on this one. Not all of us use Mac or PC-based systems to access the Internet or other online places, and we are at times stuck with using the old Unix line-based text editor. The line-based text editor DOES NOT RECOGNIZE CARRIAGE RETURNS, TABS, OR MORE THAN ONE SPACE IN A ROW! It absolutely DOES NOT AND WILL NOT ACCEPT THOSE COMMANDS!! If you don't believe me, try to get a shell account (increasingly rare) with you ISP or go to your nearest university and ask to go online with one of their Unix systems running Lynx/Pine/Tin/Pico, etc. If I seem to be ranting about this, I am, and it is because people who post from such systems are assumed to be barely literate by you Windoze and Mac wonders among us who think the Internet is something invented by Bill Gates and Steve Jobs in 1994, and you apparently are among those who are hardwired with this erroneous mindset.
