I see where SI is being sold... to bad CVIA didnt get it <G> Speaking of previous backers I wonder what the Luxumberg connection thinks about all this or if they have already liquidated their holdings... I need to check the 8/20/97 filing again it seems like they bought XX,XXX,XXX shares of CVIA. KAA

Hello! GJC, You are 100% correct when you say it is close of business April 24th, 1998, and no news from CVIA! Now What? Shortly after the market closed today, I phoned the CVIA office, here is how I see things following my phone call, some are my opinion, some or hard facts! First I was told that there are several lawyers and accountants and representatives from CVIA and WOTD in ongoing and intensive meetings that have been taking place over the last few days, at the CVIA office in Tulsa! Secondly! I reminded Jack that my time frame was up, in regards to expecting to see a press release addressing some positive news and next steps that clearly addresses the concerns of the long standing and loyal CVIA Shareholders! I explained I didn't want maybe's , could be's, whatever's, and reinforced that my patience and tolerance level had peaked! I did expect to hear the old, we will be working through out the weekend scenario! And sure enough that's what I was told! Jack relayed to me the impression that he and the WOTD Representatives are trying to come up with a plan that would recognize the long standing loyal CVIA Shareholders that have been supporting the CVIA efforts under Jack's recent leadership! Now! Just so anyone doesn't get the wrong impression here, I have no idea what that could mean or whether there will be any consideration when all is said and done!---I am simply sharing and relaying the message that Jack was trying to relate to me! ( In my opinion!) HERE IS THE BOTTOM LINE! I told Jack I would be posting this on the CVIA Thread, so here in Jack's words is what I was told! We have a committment from Jack Arnold that a news release updating the progress of the CVIA scenario and developments will be issued by NOON CENTRAL TIME on Monday April 27th., 1998. That is what I was told, and I am sharing it with the participants of this thread!--keep in mind those are Jack's words, not mine! When I asked did he mean noon Eastern Standard Time, he said , No, by NOON CENTRAL TIME! There you have it! Next Steps!--I am at this point satisfied enough to wait until NOON MONDAY CENTRAL TIME to see what the news release consists of. This is only my impression, but I sensed from my telephone call that Jack is putting forth all his ability and energy to set things on a path that will hopefully be satisfactory for all parties! I had no way of looking through the telephone, but it sure sounded like there was a lot of activity / discussion going on behind the scenes! From my view and opinion, although not patiently, I will look forward to see what Monday by NOON CENTRAL TIME brings! Although most of you have sensed by now that I have dug in my heels, I still give Jack Arnold full marks for standing on the firing line, and being accessable for telephone calls from CVIA Shareholders! Looking forward to Monday! I felt I wanted to share this information with this thread, mainly due to the solid , long standing CVIA Shareholders, that have supported Jack Arnold's effort throughout! In my opinion, I am satisfied that we can realistically expect news on Monday! ----- I believe that Jack is a man of his word! Please understand, that this is only my opinion!
