Yup, it does seem to have turned rather serious here and at Rambi and at Feelings. I just kind of mosey around, seeing what mischief I can stir up.

That one's children might have a exposure to problem children at boarding schools, more so than in public or local private schools, is an angle I hadn't considered, but it certainly rings true and makes sense. Definitely, I'd take a hard look at the credentials of adult staff and quality of supervision at a prospective boarding school. Once a boarding school had been selected, I'd visit unannounced and often.
