FWIW, I also see an INTC purchase of ASND as a very good fit for an INTC entry into the WAN market. INTC already has a $1B LAN networking business. That's an interesting one that never occurred to me. Have you heard any news regarding the areas in networking that INTC would like to grow into or acquire into? I haven't heard of any acquisitions that INTC has made in data networking. BTW, I believe that INTC and CSCO have a strong relationship and INTC has repeatedly stated that they don't want to compete with CSCO. So, with that as a basis, I think that a LU or NT acquisition of BAY/ASND would be more likely. JRH
