Pfizer will rack up sales of $10 billion a year, maybe not
in 1999, but probably in 2000. Considering (1) Viagra is very
popular, even among men who are not impotent, (2) the foreign market
will eventually be bigger than the US market, (3) women will also
use it, here is a conservative estimate of sales in 2000:

#Men #Women
USA 10M 2M
Foreign 20M 4M

Total: 36M * 1 pill/week * 52 weeks * $7 = $13.1 billion

I read the Barrons article and I believe it's news that all investors are perfectly aware of. However, this guy basis his whole arguement on the sale of Viagra. PFE has many drugs selling now and a great pipeline that clearly will make them the leading drug company in years to come. We'll see PFE go higher as more and more script data comes out.
